About Me
(I don’t know about this whole block or if it’s necessary. I think I like having another picture here but I don’t want to be too redundant with content)
My collaborative approach to wellness allows us to work together to cultivate a relationship where your unique needs can be seen and supported. Our society often suggests that we struggle in isolation, and ignore our most natural human impulse to connect to and support one another. Together, we will investigate how to expand upon your network and community, and look at what connections are most meaningful to you. With sex positivity and social justice, our work will be centered on empowerment, finding ways to get your needs met, and making space for joy and pleasure.
I am passionate about providing a non-judgmental space to support growth and resilience and work to highlight and expand upon existing strengths. With compassion and vulnerability, I integrate the mind, body, and community to cultivate a holistic approach to mental health. Looking for support is courageous, and I am excited to sit with you on your journey.
Approach
Sex Positive
I’ve always had a passion for connecting with people. Sex and sexuality are often relegated to the shadows of society. I’ve found that as a result, people feel lonely, shamed, and isolated. The window for pleasure decreases and opportunities for violence and hatefulness increase. Sex positivity means that all of your consensual kinks, relationship styles, and identities will be affirmed and supported. Sometimes, you need a space to have the most precious and protected parts of you validated. My intention is to provide that space.
Somatic Therapy (Body-Based)
We tend to think, think, think. We get so caught up in our heads and our thoughts that we neglect the rest of our body. Using somatic therapy, I am curious about what emotions feel like in your body. We will explore sensations as they arise in your body, how to develop tolerance, and build skills to help you self soothe.
